Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Manufactured from heavy felt. These pellets remove dirt and lead residue from the barrel. They do not take the place of a thorough cleaning with a rod but with regular use they will help maintain performance

5 out of 5 stars Take aim and clean your small arms   October 25, 2008
Cleaning the bore of a .177 cal air rifle or pistol is no fun because it's so small. However, a clean barrel is a necessity if you want to maximize accuracy. The .177 bore doesn't need to be scrubbed and you never want to clean it from the muzzle because any wear on the crown will certainly ruin your gun.

Cleaning pellets such as these are the easiest and best way to clean dust and lubricants out of your bore -- manually push/load one of these felt pellets into the bore from the breech and fire your weapon (use two pellets if your rifle or pistol develops in excess of 500 fps). Safety first always...never point a firearm at something you don't intend to shoot and avoid putting lubricants in the bore; it can do more damage than good if you have a magnum power firearm as the hot air will ignite the lubricant.

Have fun, stay safe and enjoy the best of times.
